About Tim

Tim Lang is a retired law enforcement officer, IT professional and Republican State Representative from Sanbornton, NH.

Tim spent decades serving his community, as a Police Officer, Town Moderator, School Board Member, Town Budget Committee member, Farmer’s Market Director, as well Zoning Board Chair. He continues to be a local community leader and strong supporter of the law enforcement community. New Hampshire is consistently rated one of the safest states in our nation to live and raise a family, and it will be a top priority of Tim’s to keep it that way.

Today, Tim works as a managing IT professional for a company that runs concerts throughout the Northeast, including at the Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion (formerly Meadowbrook) in Gilford, NH.

Tim was elected to the NH House of Representatives in 2016. During his time in House, Tim has earned a reputation as a conservative leader and a pragmatic consensus builder that will work with anyone to find the best solution. He is a strong proponent of smaller, smarter government, protecting our constitutional rights and keeping our taxes low. As a former small business owner, Tim understands the many ways government can hinder small business growth, and has worked hard to get government out of the way of business owners.

Tim has 4 children. He is very proud of the fact that two of his children are graduates from the New Hampshire University System (UNH and PSU), his third is a Senior at PSU in the Allied Health program (Healthcare), and the fourth will be attending NHTI in Concord this fall for cybersecurity.

He is a certified Yoga Instructor and an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church.
